EBC Teams Make Strides For Epilepsy Foundation
Congratulations to members of two Erie Business Center teams who recently participated in the Epilepsy Foundation of Western and Central Pennsylvania Walk/Run. Team members Amy Kruszewski, Joshua Frazzini, Adam Suroviec, Jessica Skelly, Sandy Shontz, Jeffrey DiMarco, Michelle DiMarco, Amanda Runski and Alyssa Ursoy together raised more than $550 in support of the Foundation and those it serves. A special "thank you" to the team members and to all who contributed to make EBC's participation in the walk a success.

    Pharmacology Students Support Our Troops!
Students in EBC's Pharmacology 180 classes are supporting Operation Reach Out in a big way. The students have collected donations of cash and supplies to be sent to "Charlie Battery" troops stationed in Iraq. Carolyn Cowley, an EBC student in Pharmacology 108, who has friends serving in Iraq, spearheaded the effort.

The class gathered primarily items necessary for maintaining health such as hand sanitizers, sunscreen protection, nutritional supplements and anti-fungal products for the troops. EBC student ambassadors, faculty, staff and administrators joined together to gather the donations and "fill the boxes" for shipping earlier this summer. Class members plan to continue the effort, regularly collecting items to send to the troops. Letters of support are also being sent to individual members of the battery to let them know that they are not being forgotten and their service is appreciated.
