EBC's December Nurse Aide Graduates
Seven students of EBC’s nurse aide program received their certificates of completion and nurse aide pins in a December 13th graduation and pinning ceremony at the school. Attending the ceremony were Tim Feltmeyer, director of medical programs; Lucia Bonaminio, instructor, and Donna Perino, director of the Erie campus. The graduates are: Stephanie Hartman, Allesandra Hildum, Krystal Lopez, Laura Nicastro, Joseph Pancerev, Jessica White and Mindi Wion. Congratulations, graduates!

Congratulations, December Grads
Graduating EBC students received associate in specialized business (ASB) degrees or diplomas at EBC’s December commencement. The event was held Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Erie Maennerchor Club with a 6 p.m. ceremony followed by a reception for graduates, families, friends, faculty and administration. The commencement speaker was Matt Gattenby, project manager for Weber Murphy Fox. Valedictorian Melissa Stephenson also addressed those in attendance, while Hope Smith, Amber Johnson and Glenda Gunn were selected to lead various portions of the commencement exercise. Outstanding Student Recognition awards were presented to Angela Lepkowski (Office Careers), Elizabeth Godden (Paralegal), Adam Becker (Information Technology), Claire Staab (Accounting), Amber Johnson (Marketing and Management) and Hope Smith (Medical Assistant). Congratulations, graduates!

Newest Nurse Aides Pinned in October Ceremony
Six students of EBC’s nurse aide program received their certificates of completion and nurse aide pins in an October 18th graduation and pinning ceremony at the school. EBC Students and Staff Roll Up Sleeves for Blood Bank
Erie Business Center recently hosted the Blood Mobile from the Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania. Students and staff members supported the visit with donations of much-needed blood products. Contributors included: Carmen Alexander, Don Johnson, Tim Rowe, Kenneth Ford, Amelia Chilson, Paul Letkiewicz, Catherine Fitch, Mac Neil, Tarra Griffith, Latasha Lentz, Tabitha Crosby, Valerie Quinn, Heather Edmonds, Jason Gannon, Chris Shearer, Mary Seaman, Dennis Deiner, Charmane Carr and Dawn Hinchey.

Medical Assistant Students Provide Health Screenings
EBC sponsored a health fair at the October In-Service Day during which students of the medical assistant program provided various screenings. The fair included blood pressure, body composition, cholesterol and glucose (blood sugar) screenings as well as height and weight measurements. Displays and pamphlets about common health topics were also available to participants.

Club with a 6 p.m. ceremony followed by a reception for graduates,
families, friends, faculty and administration. The commencement
speaker was Kathleen (Kitty) Cancilla, Executive Director of Community
Shelter Services, Inc. Valedictorian Cindy Weindorf also addressed
those in attendance. Outstanding Student Recognition awards were
presented to David Schroeder (Computer Science), Shane Wonner (Marketing
and Management), Ashley Coburn (Accounting), JoAnn Weaver (Medical
Assistant), Kenya Morgan (Paralegal), Amy Trapp and Sarah Keefer
(Travel and Tourism), and Melissa Stephenson and Cindy Weindorf
(Medical
Transcription).
